Renovations at 244 Rosemount Ave. are new and the home is turnkey, Litchmore added.
The semi-detached property offers three bedrooms, one below-grade bedroom, three bathrooms, and a finished basement with a separate entrance.
An exposed brick wall can be seen throughout the the first and second floors.
The main floor embodies an open concept and bright space with the living, dining and kitchen areas side-by-side.
“It’s not a very big space to be quite honest, but they’ve made good use of the space,” Litchmore said.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and white cabinetry. At the rear of the house is the a laundry room.
Upstairs boasts three bedrooms and one bathroom.
Downstairs is a fully renovated basement with a separate entrance.
A typical buyer for a place like this might be a young family that was previously in a smaller space or a condo, according to Litchmore.
“A couple with maybe one, or two, or maybe three kids, and they’re upgrading to be in a neighbourhood like this,” he said.
Litchmore believes the price is a bit high for what you get.
He said if you leave the city, you can get a fully renovated 2500 square foot home for the same price.
A few streets down on Ashburnham Road, in the same neighbourhood, another semi-detached home with three bedrooms and two baths sold recently for $1,361,000, according to Litchmore.
The Toronto Regional Real Estate Board’s monthly report found that the average price of a semi-detached home in Toronto cost $1,315,547 during October.
